Wellbi is the product of thorough research and the real-life experiences of an OVC (orphaned and vulnerable children)-care organisation in South Africa (www.mosaicsa.org). It is a marriage between science and real life, creating a user-friendly tool, which will assist in data-driven decision-making and effective use of resources towards greater impact.

Meyer and Louise Conradie, the founders of Mosaic, felt an extraordinary calling to care for orphan and vulnerable children. Along Meyer’s journey, he realised the critical importance of comprehensive data and impact measurement in driving meaningful change. Despite their efforts to utilise existing software and customise it, they found themselves facing numerous challenges and roadblocks.
Driven by Meyer’s determination to find a solution, Meyer engaged in a conversation with his co-founder Gerhard. This pivotal discussion sparked an idea aimed at improving impact measurement in the NGO sector. Together, they made the decision to develop Wellbi—a unique and tailor-made software designed specifically to address the needs and challenges faced by organisations like theirs.

What are Wellbi’s minimum system requirements?
To use the Wellbi mobile app, you need:
• iOS: version 14 or higher
• Android: version 8 or higher
The Wellbi portal can be accessed from any device with a stable internet connection
and a modern web browser, so it works on laptops, desktops, and tablets without any
special requirements.

Can Wellbi integrate with existing systems?
Yes, we’re open to integration discussions and have an API to support this. The exact possibilities depend on the software you want to connect, and our teams and developers will need to discuss it to ensure the integration is safe and reliable.

Can we access Wellbi offline?
Yes, the Wellbi mobile app can be used offline to capture information. When you’re without signal or Wi-Fi, the data is safely stored on your device. Once you’re back online, you can sync the information to the Wellbi portal.
Keep in mind that while you can capture information offline, you won’t be able to view or retrieve existing data until you have an internet connection, as Wellbi is a cloud- based system.

Can we customize fields on Wellbi?
Yes! Wellbi allows full customization through both custom notes and individual profile fields. You can design your own note templates and create fields specific to your organization’s needs.

I’m unsure who to contact if I have a problem or question about Wellbi.
You’re never on your own with Wellbi! Our support structure ensures that every
question or issue is handled quickly and by the right person.
If you need help, click on the “?” icon at the bottom right corner of your Wellbi portal
screen and select “Contact Support.” Here, you can log a support ticket. Our support
team will respond within an hour.
If your query is more specific, the support team will notify your client coach, who will
reach out to assist you personally.

How long does the onboarding process take?
On average, onboarding takes about 2 months. The timeline can be shorter or longer
depending on two main factors:
1. How quickly you provide your beneficiary data to our onboarding team.
2. The level of customization you’d like in Wellbi.
Some onboardings can be completed in as little as 2 weeks, while others may take up
to 3 months.

Can I import my current beneficiaries, or do I have to add each beneficiary one by one?
You don’t have to add everyone manually! Just send us your current beneficiary
database or Excel sheets, and our team will handle the bulk import for you. After that,
you can easily add new individuals one by one as they join your organization.

How does Wellbi keep my beneficiaries’ information safe, and is it POPIA compliant?
Wellbi prioritises the security and confidentiality of your organisation's sensitive data
with our advanced data security features.
Our platform ensures compliance with all relevant legal regulations, including the
Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act, providing peace of mind regarding data
protection laws and regulations.
